Production Operator - Liquids

About the Role

Join Bega Group at our iconic Tatura dairy manufacturing site, renowned globally for its premium dairy products including cream cheese, infant formula, lactoferrin, milk powders, and single serve butter. As a Production Operator in our liquids division, you'll engage in critical production processes such as separation, evaporation, drying, blending, and packaging to ensure delivery of top-quality dairy goods. You will be responsible for operating specialized machinery, adhering to stringent safety and quality protocols, and maintaining high production standards within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position.
• 12-hour rotating shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off.
• Day shifts run from 6AM to 6PM.
• Night shifts run from 6PM to 6AM.
• Availability required for weekends, public holidays, and 24/7 factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain processing and packaging equipment including separation, evaporation, spray drying, and blending machinery in accordance with established work procedures and product specifications.
• Accurately monitor, record, and log production data and process variables using authorized documentation to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Maintain product quality consistently to meet regulatory and company standards.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), encompassing hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, supporting training initiatives and continuous production improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in manufacturing, ideally within food or dairy processing industries.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) directives.
• Basic computer literacy, including competency in data entry and production system usage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
