Product Manager - Self Managed Service

Overview

This role is offered through a partner company managing all candidate communications. The position is for a Product Manager focused on a self-managed enterprise platform utilized by global organizations, based in Saudi Arabia.

The candidate will be responsible for shaping the vision, roadmap, and delivery of how customers deploy and operate sophisticated solutions within their own infrastructures.

The job involves combining strategic product planning, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales teams.

The objective is to streamline enterprise deployments across cloud-native, on-premises, and regulated environments to boost adoption and customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities

• Establish and continually drive the market-oriented product vision and strategic roadmap for self-managed products.
• Balance priorities by considering customer desires, business goals, technical possibilities, and market developments.
• Collect and analyze feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to set priorities and ensure delivery of impactful features.
• Enhance customer deployment experiences and reliability across diverse enterprise environments.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer demand while partnering with sales and solutions teams.
• Guide the advancement of enterprise deployment scenarios including Kubernetes, container platforms, on-premises setups, and restricted environments.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex technology products, particularly enterprise platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS and self-managed/on-premises product management.
• Deep understanding of software development processes, deployment models, and infrastructure concepts.
• Experience engaging with clients in regulated sectors like banking, financial services, or insurance.
• Capability to translate customer and market insights into clear product strategies and priorities.
• Excellent collaboration skills across engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
• Strong communication skills suitable for working in a distributed international team.
• Commitment to understanding and utilizing the product extensively.
• Experience with developer-focused, infrastructure, or enterprise platforms is advantageous.
