Product Manager, GoBusiness

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Product Manager to lead the integration of business licences on the GoBusiness platform and to innovate licensing features that simplify and enhance business processes in Singapore. This role bridges government services and digital innovation, requiring someone adept at navigating regulatory complexities while creating user-centered solutions.

Responsibilities

The appointed individual will spearhead the strategic development of licensing functionalities, collaborating closely with government bodies to unify various licences onto a single digital platform. Responsibilities include understanding the entire business licensing process, identifying challenges, and designing solutions that lessen regulatory demands while ensuring compliance.

Engaging extensively with both government agencies and business users to gather licensing needs and workflows is essential. These insights will inform product requirements, enabling engineering teams to develop scalable features that support thousands of Singaporean businesses.

Managing the product roadmap with a focus on prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, user input, and policy goals is part of the role. This involves overseeing the technical integration between agency systems to ensure smooth data exchange and user-friendly licensing experiences.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in technology roles, preferably linked to digital services or regulatory technology.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s regulatory environment and government digital transformation projects is an advantage.
• Technical expertise related to software development, data analysis, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure, details of which will be discussed during interviews.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively; meticulous organizational skills; and agility in adapting to change.
• A passion for contributing to public sector digital transformation initiatives is highly valued.
