Product Designer

About the Role

Join as a Product Designer working within a Product Delivery Team that integrates UX, engineering, product management, and data specialists. Your primary task will be to craft appealing interfaces that address business needs for clients, mainly Tier 1 banks, focusing on web applications related to AML, KYC, and Sanctions List management workflows. This position is perfect for those aiming to advance their careers in FinTech or Big Data sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the product design lifecycle including discovery, developer handoff, and user testing.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, product managers, and technical teams to drive the product design process.
• Ensure that designs maintain high quality and are faithfully implemented in the final code.
• Provide precise design estimations during planning meetings.
• Lead sketching sessions involving participants with diverse roles beyond designers.
• Create and update UI assets like sketches, style guides, prototypes, micro interaction specs, and pattern libraries.
• Make sure design decisions are guided by data by identifying assumptions for testing and coordinating usability tests with analysts.
• Design pixel-perfect responsive user interfaces, favoring established UI patterns over unnecessary reinvention.
• Present design outcomes to the broader organization during Show & Tell sessions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ professional experience as a product designer.
• Proficient in Sketch and either InVision or Framer X design tools.
• Experienced in agile methodologies, particularly working in two-week sprint cycles.
• Familiar with using Jira and Confluence for project workflow management.
