Principal AI SDLC Acceleration Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal AI SDLC Acceleration Architect to partner with clients in demonstrating the advantages of VelocityAI SDLC. This hands-on role involves leveraging AI-driven architecture and engineering to significantly boost software delivery speed and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with engineering, product, architecture, and executive teams of customers to pinpoint bottlenecks and AI acceleration opportunities within SDLC.
• Engineer and implement prototypes utilizing VelocityAI SDLC alongside state-of-the-art AI development tools, autonomous workflows, and automation.
• Support customers in transitioning from conventional Scrum and ticket-based development models to intent-focused delivery methods that autonomously generate plans, code, testing, documentation, and validations.
• Establish metrics to evaluate improvements such as shortened development cycles, rapid story-to-code workflows, enhanced automated testing, streamlined code reviews, minimized handovers, and readiness for release.
• Communicate technical strategies, architectural solutions, prototype findings, business impacts, and adoption plans effectively to both technical professionals and business leadership.

Essential Qualifications

• Over 15 years of expertise in software engineering, architecture, product or platform development, solution architecture, or similar disciplines, with substantive product delivery experience.
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile and Scrum frameworks, DevSecOps principles, product life cycles, and enterprise-level engineering methodologies.
• Proficiency with AI development technologies, including IDE-integrated AI assistants, autonomous workflow agents, and applying AI to software delivery processes, with practical experience in building and evaluating such systems.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Familiarity with tools and frameworks like Claude Code, Google Cloud Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, MCP, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector databases.
• Proven experience engaging with customers in technical roles such as principal architect, forward-deployed engineer, solution architect, technical consultant, or pre-sales engineering lead.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, including human-in-the-loop systems, responsible AI usage, security practices, operational monitoring, and ensuring production readiness of AI-enhanced systems.
