Role Overview
This position is focused on plant and machinery operations for building projects. The engineer will take charge of installation, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and project-level coordination related to construction equipment and site utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, service, and maintain batching plants, tower cranes, and concreting equipment.
- Carry out repair and upkeep work on hydraulic systems and related machinery.
- Oversee construction-related power supply and water supply installations.
- Manage an assigned project independently.
- Follow ISO procedures and comply with established safety standards and site regulations.
- Identify and coordinate with vendors for spares and equipment requirements.
- Handle procurement, repair, maintenance, and disposal activities for earthmoving and construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, graders, bulldozers, loading shovels, JCBs, dumpers, tippers, trailers, and four-wheelers.
- Work with construction machinery including cranes, TBM, concrete mixers, compactors, pavers, road rollers, batching plants, and similar equipment.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline. The role requires 2 to 7 years of experience in plant and machinery work within building projects, along with hands-on exposure to batching plants and tower cranes. Experience in high-rise commercial building projects is compulsory. The candidate must also be willing to work anywhere in Bengaluru.
Education
B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
