Role Overview

We are seeking a Picker Labourer to join our Nudgee Recycling Facility in Queensland. This position involves working early morning shifts primarily on a concrete recycling plant. Weekend work may occasionally be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a small team operating the concrete recycling plant.
• Stand adjacent to a moving conveyor belt while carrying out picking tasks in a designated hut.
• Conduct routine plant maintenance such as replacing rollers and screens.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization through manual cleaning and shoveling tasks.
• Participate actively in daily safety toolbox meetings.

Candidate Profile

• Good physical fitness with the ability to handle manual labor tasks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Willingness and ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment including hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and high-visibility long-sleeve clothing.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards in safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Own a reliable mode of transport.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM when required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage range of $28.04 to $31.94 depending on experience and qualifications.
