This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a well-established global platform that covers freight, bulk commodities, metals, and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and broker physical dry cargo vessel deals across the Handymax, Supramax, and Panamax segments by managing discussions between charterers and shipowners.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders such as shipowners, charterers, traders, and participants across worldwide dry bulk markets.
• Generate revenue growth by identifying new business prospects and enlarging the client portfolio.
• Deliver daily market insights, pricing discoveries, and written analytical market reports to clients.
• Keep abreast of market trends and pinpoint potential new products or trading opportunities aligned with the overarching desk strategy.
• Comply fully with the company’s internal risk controls, compliance regulations, and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated successful experience as a Dry Cargo shipbroker with a solid commercial track record.
• In-depth knowledge of global dry bulk markets, especially vessel categories including Handymax, Supramax, and Panamax.
• Existing network and relationships within the dry shipping industry.
• Exceptional negotiation capabilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships.
• Highly driven, resilient, and capable of performing effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail and the ability to deliver detailed and perceptive market commentaries.
