About the Role
The pharmacy retail store incharge will oversee day-to-day store functioning, guide the team, and ensure smooth, compliant, and customer-focused operations. The role is based in Guwahati and is suited to professionals with a strong pharmacy retail background.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete functioning of the pharmacy retail outlet and keep operations running efficiently.
- Supervise, guide, and encourage the pharmacy team to perform effectively.
- Ensure the store follows all applicable pharmaceutical rules, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Track inventory carefully, including placing orders, accepting deliveries, and monitoring stock movement and availability.
- Oversee prescription dispensing workflows to maintain both accuracy and speed.
- Assist customers with prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, and general health-related questions.
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a prompt, professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and policy-compliant work environment by implementing store procedures.
- Work with pharmacy management to support sales growth and enhance customer experience.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, new medicines, and regulatory changes that affect pharmacy operations.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have 6 to 9 years of pharmacy background experience, along with either D. Pharma or B. Pharma qualification. A valid registration with the Assam Pharmacy Council is compulsory.
Education
Diploma in D Pharma or B.Pharma in any specialization.
