Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications. The ideal candidate brings a blend of deep functional understanding of higher education processes and hands-on technical development capabilities to deliver scalable and business-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze business requirements to translate them into effective functional and technical specifications for enhancing and implementing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Packages, Workflow, and BI/XML Publisher.
- Configure and provide support for core Campus Solutions modules such as Student Admissions, Student Records, Student Financials, Campus Community, and related processes.
- Manage system integration activities, troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, perform testing, deployment, and offer production support to maintain optimal application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver enhancements, handle system upgrades, prepare documentation, and implement continuous process improvements adhering to defined SDLC standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have at least 5 years of professional experience in a techno-functional role focused on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions consulting, development, or support.
- Demonstrate strong functional understanding of higher education business processes, especially in areas like Student Admissions, Student Records, Student Financials, and Campus Community within the Campus Solutions environment.
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support.
Essential Technical Skills
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (version 8.9 or higher) with deep techno-functional expertise in solution analysis, configuration, customization, and maintenance.
- Hands-on development skills using PeopleTools 8.58 or newer, incorporating PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Packages, Workflow, and BI/XML Publisher.
- Strong ability in SQL development and database scripting alongside excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication capabilities with stakeholders.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience in PeopleSoft upgrades, integration work, web services, APIs, and optimizing system performance.
- Knowledge of secure software development life cycle practices, system security, data privacy, and structured project execution methods.
- Background supporting higher education institutions, enterprise ERP modernization, or digital transformation projects is advantageous.
