Job Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage and execute all payroll-related activities efficiently and within strict deadlines. This role involves operating HRMS, biometric and attendance systems, overseeing salary processing, compliance adherence, and employee-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process the monthly payroll within the required timelines.
- Manage HRMS, biometric attendance systems, leave records, payroll inputs, and payroll automation processes.
- Validate payroll data and collaborate with Finance for salary disbursement.
- Manage salary changes including revisions, arrears, incentives, reimbursements, and handle Full & Final settlements.
- Ensure payroll compliance with company policies as well as statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records, personal files, HR documents, and databases securely.
- Address employee communication and respond to HR-related queries.
- Liaise with HRMS vendors to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Organize employee engagement activities and communication efforts.
- Assist managers with attendance tracking, disciplinary procedures, and related employee concerns.
- Coordinate monthly compliance activities concerning PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and other labor laws.
- Keep compliance documentation up-to-date and support audit activities.
- Ensure punctual submission of payroll and statutory reports to consultants.
- Help with documentation and reporting related to labor law compliance.
