About the Role
Hawk-Eye Innovations, based in Basingstoke, seeks a Payroll Analyst to manage the end-to-end payroll function ensuring precise and timely salary processing. This permanent role offers full-time or negotiable part-time hours with a salary range of £30,000 to £45,000 pro-rated for part-time. Immediate availability or short notice period preferred for an early autumn start.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete payroll processing cycles monthly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify payroll inputs, calculations, reports, and employee changes, maintaining compliance with tax laws, employment legislation, GDPR, and internal controls.
- Maintain and reconcile payroll data and documentation thoroughly.
- Handle pension and benefit management including onboarding, departures, and contribution adjustments.
- Address payroll inquiries professionally, providing excellent employee and stakeholder support.
- Prepare data for compliance returns, audits, PSA, and ONS submissions.
- Contribute to payroll process improvement and assist with migrating to a new payroll provider.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in payroll processing with comprehensive knowledge of related legislation and statutory requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage deadlines in a dynamic workplace.
- Effective communication skills with a collaborative workstyle.
- Desirable experience includes automating payroll processes and implementing payroll system transitions.
