Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of a sizeable fortnightly payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at improving payroll processes and the overall employee experience.
• Collaborate within a supportive team to deliver high-quality payroll services and solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in senior payroll roles with solid knowledge of payroll legislation and full payroll cycle management.
• Strong comprehension of employment terms, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, leave policies, taxation, superannuation, and statutory obligations.
• Exceptional precision and commitment to compliant, accurate payroll results.
• Adept at managing multiple priorities and adhering to strict payroll deadlines in complex settings.
• Analytical thinker capable of investigating and resolving complex payroll issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills focused on customer service and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to foster positive working relationships and collaborate across departments.
• Continual improvement mindset with experience enhancing payroll efficiency and service quality.
• Previous exposure to enterprise HR/payroll systems like PeopleSoft or ServiceNow is desirable.
• Experience in large, multifaceted organisations is highly valued.

• Salary scale HEW 6 - base salary range from 94966 to 101295 AUD plus 17% superannuation; full package between 111110 and 118515 AUD.
