Role Overview
Snapstick Solutions is looking for a diligent and self-sufficient Part-Time Accountant to oversee and refine daily financial operations at their office in Rajajinagar, Bangalore. The candidate will be expected to manage essential accounting tasks including ledger upkeep, compliance adherence, and accurate inventory record maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise and current records of daily financial transactions, expenses, and ledger entries.
- Prepare and issue invoices; oversee sales and purchase bills ensuring compliance with GST and tax regulations.
- Monitor accounts receivable proactively and coordinate with clients and vendors to facilitate timely payments.
- Record and reconcile inventory changes with accounting data to ensure accurate stock valuation and resolve any discrepancies.
- Efficiently enter financial data such as receipts, bank statements, and vouchers into the accounting system.
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations and assist in closing books under supervision.
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years of hands-on core accounting experience, capable of working independently during work hours.
- A graduate degree is essential; preferred fields include B.Com in Finance, Commerce (Hons.), Banking & Finance, or Taxation.
- Basic English communication complemented by proficiency in Kannada or Hindi, critical for liaising with local vendors and clients regarding payments.
- Applicants aged between 18 and 40 years.
- Practical experience with accounting software such as Tally and strong skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
Additional Information
This is a part-time office position requiring presence from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, at the Rajajinagar location. Candidates are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the office.
