Order Management Specialist

About the Role

Join DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson, as an Order Management Specialist within the Instrument Deployment Group based in Ringaskiddy, County Cork. This 12-month contract role is pivotal in supporting the global supply chain for the Joints Business Group, delivering exceptional service to direct and affiliate markets worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer orders and requests promptly and accurately.
• Enter orders into the designated ERP system efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns or complaints, making timely decisions and keeping relevant stakeholders informed.
• Provide clear responses to queries regarding delivery schedules, credit approvals, pricing, and product-related service details.
• Coordinate with supply chain partners to obtain and share delivery information, prioritizing urgent requirements.
• Collaborate with market teams to monitor and improve supply chain effectiveness, enhancing the overall customer experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers aligned with group objectives.
• Create and update reports, supporting various projects as needed.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean processes to optimize service delivery.
• Oversee new product introductions and rationalization processes in cooperation with overseas markets and commercial teams.
• Lead market service evaluations and performance analyses, representing supply needs and challenges within sales and operations planning.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least two years’ experience in supply chain planning or similar roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as JD Edwards and SAP is advantageous.
• IT literacy with the ability to analyze and summarize data effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business.
• Ability to multitask independently and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal collaboration capabilities.
