Oracle Cloud Test Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle Cloud Test Manager to oversee and orchestrate the complete testing lifecycle for a major Oracle Cloud deployment project. This role is pivotal as the main testing coordinator, accountable for the development and enforcement of testing governance, aligning multiple teams, managing test executions, and assuring successful delivery across diverse Oracle Cloud modules, integrations, and business workflows.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in handling intricate enterprise testing programs, coordinating with stakeholders, governing quality assurance, and facilitating release preparedness within Oracle Cloud migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enforce, and oversee comprehensive testing strategies and cohesive test plans that span several releases and workstreams.
• Supervise all testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing, Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), Payroll Reconciliation Testing, and Oracle's Quarterly Release Testing.
• Serve as the central liaison for testing between business units, IT, Oracle implementation partners, application teams, and third-party vendors.
• Define and track test readiness criteria such as environments, test data, scripts, and schedules.
• Maintain thorough traceability between business requirements, test scenarios, outcomes, and defect logs.
• Lead defect management processes including triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution monitoring.
• Develop and uphold testing governance standards, including quality gates, entry and exit criteria, and phase sign-offs.
• Implement risk-based testing centered on business-critical processes and end-to-end scenarios.
• Manage test reporting mechanisms, dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and provide executive-level status updates.
• Contribute to release readiness evaluations and offer deployment guidance.
• Champion test automation practices and ensure efficient use of enterprise testing tools.
• Guarantee uniform testing methodologies across Oracle Cloud applications, custom solutions, integrations, reporting, and third-party platforms.

Technical and Functional Requirements

• Proven management experience directing testing activities for expansive Oracle Cloud deployments.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud application suites, with hands-on experience in one or more of these modules: Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Fusion HCM, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM), Oracle Payroll, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Oracle Retail, Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS), Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) / PaaS integrations.
• Expertise managing test efforts across Oracle Cloud apps, bespoke applications, interfaces, integrations, analytics, reports, and third-party enterprise systems.
• Practical experience with enterprise test management tools; familiarity with Tricentis Tosca or similar test automation solutions is a strong plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of Oracle testing methodologies, quality assurance frameworks, and release procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

• Over 10 years of professional experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance roles.
• Established track record as a Test Manager, QA Manager, or Test Lead in large-scale enterprise transformation projects.
• Experience leading multi-vendor and cross-functional testing teams.
• Demonstrated leadership in Oracle Cloud testing activities from planning phases through to production go-live.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, able to engage effectively with business stakeholders, technical resources, and senior executives.
