Role Overview

We are seeking an Operations Officer to play a vital role in managing all operational facets of our travel itineraries. This position involves close coordination with accommodations, guides, transport companies, and other partners across East Africa. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and adept at anticipating challenges before they escalate. Your essential behind-the-scenes efforts will make memorable journeys possible for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate confirmations for accommodation and activities bookings.
• Arrange transfers, domestic flights, and ground transportation logistics.
• Communicate regularly with hotels, lodges, guides, and service providers.
• Prepare comprehensive travel documents including vouchers and itineraries.
• Track booking deadlines and ensure adherence to operational timelines.
• Provide ongoing operational assistance to travelers during their trips.
• Effectively manage last-minute adjustments and unforeseen issues.
• Verify all reservations, payments, and supplier confirmations for accuracy.
• Contribute to refining internal processes and operational workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Remain calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel operations preferred.
• Knowledge of the tourism industry in Kenya or East Africa is a plus.
