Role Overview
The Operations Manager position is a full-time, on-premises role located in Doha, Qatar. The incumbent is responsible for managing daily operational functions, including planning, organizing, and enhancing processes to ensure efficient performance of stores and/or facilities. Key duties include supervising KPIs, overseeing inventory and logistics processes, ensuring adherence to company policies, local regulations, and quality benchmarks. The role demands leadership and mentoring of teams, facilitating cross-functional communication, addressing operational challenges, and spearheading ongoing improvement efforts. Additional responsibilities involve generating performance reports, budget management, supporting strategic initiatives, and maintaining superior customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Demonstrated skills in operations and process management, including the ability to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and plan resources effectively.
- Strong leadership capabilities encompassing team management, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in analytical and problem-solving abilities, utilizing data and KPI insights to inform decisions and deploy corrective measures.
- Background in coordinating inventory, supply chain, or logistics operations, preferably within retail, consumer goods, or related industries.
- Competence with business software and tools such as ERP systems, spreadsheets, and reporting platforms for operational management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience collaborating across diverse teams and cultural settings.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or allied fields is required; additional professional certifications are advantageous.
- Proven track record in an operational or supervisory capacity, ideally in multi-brand or multi-location environments.
- Understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance; familiarity with Middle Eastern regional regulations is a plus.
- Capability to work on-site in Doha with flexibility to accommodate evolving business demands and priorities.
