Operations Analyst - Entry to Mid Level

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Operations Analyst to join our team at an entry to mid-level capacity. This position supports business operations by conducting data analysis, enhancing processes, and tracking performance to detect inefficiencies, optimize workflows, and deliver actionable insights that boost operational efficiency and overall business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate detailed operational reports and dashboards.
• Review and assess current business processes to suggest efficiency enhancements and cost-saving measures.
• Assist with process automation and workflow optimization along with ongoing improvement projects.
• Perform root cause analysis of operational problems and recommend feasible solutions.
• Collaborate with diverse teams including operations, finance, logistics, human resources, and management.
• Support forecasting, capacity planning, and resource distribution activities.
• Maintain accurate operational records and data reporting systems.
• Prepare and present reports to aid management in decision-making.
• Contribute to the execution of operational projects and initiatives aimed at performance improvement.
• Ensure data validity, consistency, and adherence to internal standards.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support both strategic and operational decisions.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in operations, business or data analysis, consulting, finance, logistics, or similar fields preferred.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and reporting tools.
• Experience with analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to handle large datasets.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify and execute process improvements.
• Well-organized with an aptitude for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Independent worker who can also collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related disciplines desired.
