Job Overview
Join His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service as an Operational Support Grade (OSG) at HMP Erlestoke. This role involves supporting the day-to-day running of a busy prison, playing a vital part in maintaining security and operational efficiency. The salary for this position is £30,491 per year.
Key Responsibilities
As an OSG, you will perform a diverse range of tasks including security checks and searches at the prison gate, managing deliveries, overseeing visitors, monitoring phone calls and CCTV, and escorting vehicles within the prison grounds. The role combines both desk-based activities and physically active duties such as lifting, carrying, and extensive walking.
