Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and assemble customer orders from various temperature-controlled sections to ensure timely dispatch.
• Carefully pack orders, confirming correct product selections, quantities, and item codes.
• Maintain high product quality by selecting fresh items and removing any damaged goods.
• Complete all necessary documentation and labeling such as pick slips and shipping labels precisely.
• Optimize packing efficiency to use space well while preserving product integrity and safety.
• Provide positive customer support and assist with resolving any issues during fulfillment.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace by following food hygiene and safety protocols including prompt spill cleanup and equipment safety checks.
• Be flexible with work schedules, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business demands.

Challenges

• Handle high volumes of tasks in a fast-moving environment effectively, including overnight shifts requiring planning to maintain focus and energy.
• Meet the physical demands of standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing tasks carefully to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $16.65 per hour.
