Officer - Loss Prevention

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol all property areas and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor security systems and conduct daily inspections to identify physical hazards.
• Respond quickly to accidents and support guests and employees during emergencies.
• Manage situations involving disruptive guests by calming them and escorting them off the premises when necessary.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and facilitate interviews with relevant parties.
• Prepare shift reports and maintain strict confidentiality of all loss prevention documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate is required.
• No prior related work experience or supervisory experience is necessary.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
• A team-first attitude combined with meticulous attention to detail and mature, professional behavior.

Additional Information and Working Conditions

This position requires adherence to quality standards and may involve standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods. The role entails moving and lifting objects up to 23 kg unassisted and helping move items over 35 kg. You will use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.
