Position Overview

This internal vacancy at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is for a Team Lead in Occupational Therapy focused on community neurological long-term condition management. The role involves both maintaining a varied caseload of specialist patients and providing clinical and professional leadership to occupational therapy staff. Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registered with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Completion of at least one level 7 module or equivalent post-registration linked to practice.
  • Accredited practice placement educator.
  • Certificate in Leadership and/or Management.
  • Desirable: Membership of relevant College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section.
  • Extensive OT clinical experience, including significant senior level practice and involvement in innovative clinical work.
  • Experience leading changes in OT clinical practice is essential.
  • Line management experience is considered a plus.

The position is fixed-term for 22 months and only open to current employees of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
