Role Summary

The Nutritional Service Associate at Trinity Health plays an essential role in patient care by delivering appropriate meal trays to hospitalized patients during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This position is vital in guaranteeing that patients receive meals appropriate to their prescribed dietary needs in a timely and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver breakfast, lunch, and dinner trays directly to patients in their rooms.
• Confirm patient identity and ensure that the correct diet tray is delivered according to dietary instructions.
• Assist in the timely and precise distribution of meals throughout inpatient departments.
• Collect used trays and maintain cleanliness of service and dining areas.
• Offer compassionate and courteous service to all patients encountered.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in hospital, rehabilitation, or long-term care facilities is favorable.
• Understanding of meal tray delivery protocols to patient rooms.
• Basic knowledge of diet and nutrition compliance.
• Experience interacting with patients within healthcare environments.

Work Schedule

• 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Required to work every other weekend.
