Night Auditor

Role overview

This full-time Night Auditor role is part of the Finance & Accounting function at a hotel in Almadinah Almunawwarah, Saudi Arabia. The position is non-management and is not a remote role.

What you will do

• Review figures, postings, and supporting documents to ensure they are accurate.
• Record, store, retrieve, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Handle and safeguard hotel cash and cash equivalents in line with cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Organize, secure, and maintain files and records according to document-retention and confidentiality rules.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, audit, and payroll tables and reports.
• Audit statistical, financial, accounting, audit, and payroll tables and reports.
• Audit and reconcile all revenue entries.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.
• Stay alert to unauthorized persons on hotel premises.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, keep uniform and personal appearance neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets, and safeguard the privacy and security of guests and colleagues.
• Welcome and acknowledge every guest according to company standards, anticipate service needs, respond to them, and thank guests sincerely.
• Assist individuals with disabilities as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written materials accurately and completely, and answer phones using the proper protocol.
• Build and sustain positive working relationships, support the team in achieving common goals, and listen to and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns.
• Meet quality-assurance expectations and standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Desired profile

Education required: high school diploma or an equivalent GED qualification. No prior related work experience is required, and no supervisory experience is necessary. No license or certification is needed for this role.
