Network Manager

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Network Manager to lead the enterprise network infrastructure at our bank, ensuring robust security, high availability, and stringent regulatory compliance. This role encompasses complete oversight of network design, project execution, day-to-day operations, and continuous enhancements across datacenter and hybrid cloud environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and nurture the Enterprise Network and Firewall teams to foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Manage complete network service delivery covering LAN, WAN, Datacenter, Cloud, Wireless and internet connectivity.
• Create and deploy secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures spanning on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Guarantee network uptime, monitor performance, and plan capacity to align with business demands and SLAs.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes, including thorough root cause analysis and driving continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Infrastructure, Security, Applications, Compliance, and Cloud to deliver integrated networking solutions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory mandates and internal governance protocols.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, coordinating commercial activities alongside procurement.
• Champion automation initiatives and process improvements utilizing scripting and infrastructure as code techniques to boost efficiency and mitigate operational risks.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, with a demonstrated capacity for leadership.
• Deep expertise in datacenter, enterprise, and hybrid cloud network environments.
• Comprehensive hands-on skills in routing, switching, and datacenter technologies such as Cisco ACI and SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with network security technologies including firewalls, web application firewalls (WAFs) like Check Point, Palo Alto, F5, VPNs, and SASE/SSE architectures.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as financial services, with strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven abilities in team leadership and managing vendor partnerships.
• Preferred exposure to network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management prowess, capable of engaging senior management.

Certifications

• Mandatory professional-level networking certification such as CCNP or equivalent.
• Highly desirable expert-level qualifications like CCIE.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are advantageous.
• Security certifications (e.g., Check Point CCSA/CCSE) are beneficial.
