.NET Technical Lead / Senior Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned .NET Technical Lead / Senior Designer to join our Technology team in Auckland. This senior, client-facing position centers on designing and delivering high-quality API-driven solutions while providing technical guidance within cutting-edge engineering settings.

You will be instrumental in shaping system design, mentoring development teams, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to implement scalable and secure digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of .NET applications and RESTful APIs, focusing on external partner integrations.
• Offer technical leadership throughout the entire software development lifecycle for delivery teams.
• Engage with business and cross-functional teams to transform requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Evaluate and enhance solution architecture and design strategies.
• Promote best practices within modern engineering, including DevSecOps and cloud-native approaches.
• Support agile delivery in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Key Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated track record as a .NET Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or Solution Designer.
• Strong .NET and C# development skills, with expertise in designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and contemporary engineering frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI tools and new technologies is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in insurance or financial services sectors is highly preferred.
