Headquartered in the U.S. with offices including Singapore, Anchorage has a top-tier investor lineup and operates under stringent security protocols, including mandatory in-person onboarding to safeguard infrastructure and culture.
Role Overview
As a Member of Client Operations within Settlements, you will provide premium service to institutional clients managing their accounts. Your responsibilities include ensuring smooth onboarding, timely responses to inquiries, risk-aware transaction management, and advocating for clients by understanding their platform usage. You will collaborate across teams to continually optimize processes while overseeing custody and settlement operations and adhering to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute complete settlement procedures accurately and promptly for institutional client requests.
- Reconcile data between internal systems and external channels like banking portals and custody exchanges; validate transactions with blockchain explorers.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and controls for standardized settlement workflows; actively contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Develop solid understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including tokens, protocols, and associated verticals such as staking and governance; adept at using tools like Salesforce, JIRA, and Looker.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with teams including Trading, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering to refine tools, reduce manual tasks, and strengthen controls.
- Manage complexities of settling diverse digital assets and fiat currencies under tight deadlines, resolving discrepancies and escalating when needed to protect stakeholders.
- Engage in continuous process improvements to enhance throughput, reliability, and auditability of settlement operations.
- Keep updated on evolving crypto market structures, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices; share knowledge to mitigate reliance on single team members.
- Communicate effectively during high-pressure situations, building strong relationships internally and externally to ensure alignment and clear progress.
Candidate Profile
- More than two years of experience in operations, settlements, reconciliations, or post-trade support in digital assets, fintech, or traditional finance sectors.
- Exceptional attention to detail with capability to juggle multiple urgent workflows simultaneously.
- Proven skills in reconciling transactions and investigating discrepancies, with thorough documentation of findings.
- Basic familiarity with blockchain principles and use of blockchain explorers, or strong motivation to acquire this knowledge swiftly.
- Effective communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a prudent, risk-aware approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting institutional clients or interacting with counterparties such as exchanges, banks, or custodians.
- Knowledge of operational tools and automation platforms such as SQL, Python, Looker, or Retool.
- Exposure to anti-money laundering (AML), compliance, or regulated financial environments.
