Role Overview

This position is suited to someone who is enthusiastic about media strategy, brand growth, and digital performance. As Media Planning Manager, you will support the planning of media campaigns for a range of fast-growing ZURU brands across multiple consumer categories. The role combines performance marketing and brand-building, with the aim of helping challenger brands grow across the funnel.

What You Will Do

You will work across media planning for platforms such as TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and digital display, helping define audience approaches and planning processes that deliver measurable outcomes. You will collaborate closely with the Media Buying team, Data & Analytics team, and brand teams to ensure campaigns are strategically planned, accurately measured, and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping media strategy and planning for assigned ZURU brands, ensuring plans are informed by insights and centred on audience needs.
  • Help develop and roll out media measurement frameworks in partnership with media buying and analytics teams.
  • Contribute to applying a future-focused demand approach in campaign planning and strengthen understanding of brand-building media principles.
  • Track platform trends and audience shifts, and proactively suggest new channel opportunities and ideas.
  • Build strong working relationships with technology and media partners to improve value and drive innovation for ZURU brands.
  • Support reporting routines and performance reviews by turning campaign data into practical recommendations.
  • Work with cross-functional brand and marketing stakeholders to keep media activity aligned with vertical and brand objectives.
  • Help maintain a curious, collaborative, and high-performing team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting teammates.

Experience and Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in digital marketing, media planning, or paid media, preferably in an agency or in-house brand setting.
  • Practical experience with Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google advertising products.
  • Understanding of measurement methods such as performance reporting, brand lift studies, and incremental testing.
  • Background working with consumer brands, ideally in FMCG, CPG, or similar categories.
  • Exposure to social, programmatic display, and video channels; familiarity with newer areas such as CTV or retail media would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in sharing ideas and working across teams.
  • Analytical and inquisitive mindset with the ability to interpret data and convert it into clear actions.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and raise issues early.
  • Motivated to learn, take ownership, and progress within a fast-moving global marketing team.
