Role Overview
As a Financial Business Partner in Logistics for the Middle East, you will drive budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis to align financial objectives with corporate strategies. Your role will extend to supporting decision-making, risk management, data systems development, and leading strategic projects that integrate finance and business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain annual budgets along with rolling forecasts, regularly monitoring and addressing variances to achieve financial targets aligned with business goals.
- Establish and manage key performance indicator frameworks, producing analytical reports, pinpointing deviations, conducting thorough root cause analysis, and recommending actions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate extensively with operations teams to evaluate initiatives and devise financially sound solutions that facilitate strategic project execution and resolve interdepartmental challenges.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as revenue overstatement and delivery fraud, overseeing cash flow and managing receivables and payables to prevent bad debts and liquidity issues.
- Develop and implement data models and automation tools, including business intelligence dashboards, to optimize accuracy and operational analytical capabilities.
- Lead special projects such as market research and competitor benchmarking, standardize processes, and provide financial training aimed at improving team capabilities and reinforcing business-finance cooperation.
