Materials Program Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Materials Program Manager to join Intel's Global Operations team within the Foundry and Construction Sourcing division. This role focuses on advancing and deploying innovative supply chain strategies that enhance quality, efficiency, and technological progress at Intel's Leixlip site. The successful candidate will act as a pivotal liaison between factory stakeholders, procurement operations, and materials suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely availability of materials supporting manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert manufacturing inventory forecasts and business demands into strategic actions covering materials stocking, risk mitigation, inventory health, and supply chain process improvements.
• Ensure continuous delivery of spare parts and direct materials aligned with factory requirements across the Ireland manufacturing sites.
• Support site procurement operations daily to optimize efficiency and resolve factory disruptions promptly.
• Implement procurement tactics that balance inventory management, accurate forecasting, and supplier labor coordination.
• Respond and resolve escalations related to inventory risks, supplier labor, and other supply chain challenges.
• Manage material quality incident processes involving supplier interaction and resolution.
• Maintain integrity of bills of materials while achieving targets for availability, cost, and quality.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, develop contingency plans, monitor program metrics, and ensure effective risk management.
• Analyze data to operate supply chain processes and design advanced solutions for complex challenges.
• Drive standardization across indicators, procedures, and processes to improve supply chain consistency and efficiency.
• Contribute to the enhancement of systems, metrics, and tools supporting organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to innovate future supply chain approaches.
• Engage with suppliers, including managing field service engineer sponsorships, budget oversight, and labor support initiatives.
• Align supply chain activities tightly with production demands to maximize output while controlling costs and inventory levels.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of equivalent industry experience without a degree.
• Minimum two years experience with business intelligence platforms, data modeling, and data transformation techniques.
• At least two years experience handling complex supplier relationships and leading operational supply chain strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.
• Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana, ARIBA, Power BI, JMP, and other procurement or inventory management technologies.
• Experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics for problem resolution and process enhancements.
• Proven track record of executing disciplined operational processes in dynamic environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to foster team partnerships.
• Analytical proficiency in data-driven decision making.

Additional Information

This opportunity offers a competitive annual salary range of €45,800 to €71,600, commensurate with experience and qualifications, inclusive of various pay components and benefits. The position operates primarily onsite at Intel's Leixlip facility within Ireland, with eligibility for a hybrid working model allowing a split between onsite and offsite work.
