Role Overview

We are recruiting a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to be part of our Communications and Engagement team on a full-time, six-month fixed-term contract. This role involves crafting compelling content, managing digital platforms, and translating complex research into clear, engaging narratives that resonate with varied audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing creative content for digital platforms including websites, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
• Designing marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, presentations, and signage.
• Assisting with communication campaigns and event coordination.
• Overseeing regular electronic direct mail (eDM) communications.
• Ensuring all communication materials comply with established brand guidelines.
• Collaborating closely with researchers and stakeholders to identify and highlight significant stories and achievements.
• Tracking and analyzing engagement metrics and communication effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

• Qualifications in marketing, communications, content design, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven excellence in copywriting, editing, and content creation.
• Experience managing websites, social media channels, and email marketing platforms.
• Strong visual design capabilities, familiar with design tools such as Canva.
• Ability to simplify complex information into accessible and engaging content tailored for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in managing stakeholder relationships.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and capable of juggling multiple priorities successfully.

Additional Details

• Remuneration: PSC6 salary scale ranging between $87,159 and $94,347 per annum.
• Employment type: Full-time, six-month fixed-term contract.
• Location: Parkville and Heidelberg, Victoria, Australia.
• Visa sponsorship is not offered; applicants must possess current valid work rights in Australia.
• Successful candidates will be required to consent to a police background check.
