The role helps plan and run on-site events, drives participation in promotions, and contributes to advertising and outreach that build brand recognition and community awareness. This position serves as a welcoming point of contact for guests and works closely with internal teams to keep marketing operations running smoothly across both properties.

Key Duties

  • Represent the brand professionally and deliver a high level of guest service.
  • Welcome guests, respond to questions, share directions, and promote current and upcoming events and offers.
  • Collect guest feedback and escalate concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Encourage participation in promotions, tournaments, birthday activities, and community programs.
  • Help plan, prepare, and run promotions, special events, and outreach activities such as school, senior center, and league visits.
  • Handle event setup tasks, including signage, check-in, prize handout, and raffle coordination.
  • Share event information with guests and team members to keep operations on track.
  • Support the Events & Marketing Coordinator by observing event flow and confirming standards are met.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Rocket City, the General Store, and IMGR&C products, services, and promotions.
  • Assist with marketing content collection when requested, such as photos, short videos, and guest testimonials, while following brand guidelines.
  • Track guest participation to assist with marketing review and follow-up activities.
  • Keep promotional materials, event supplies, and display stock organized and available.
  • Partner with the Events & Marketing Coordinator, Chief Marketing Officer, Advertising Manager, and other departments to support marketing goals and guest experience standards.
  • Share observations about operational issues or guest trends that may improve marketing efforts.
  • Help venue staff as needed to ensure events and promotions are delivered successfully.

Performance Expectations

  • Demonstrate hospitality standards, service behaviors, and technical skills needed to complete tasks properly.
  • Know where to find information needed to finish assignments correctly.
  • Take ownership of problems and work toward solutions, even when direction is limited.
  • Ask for assistance when needed to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company products and services and communicate that knowledge confidently.
  • Respond to complaints, comments, and service issues quickly, respectfully, and with a helpful attitude.
  • Meet quality expectations by completing work right the first time whenever possible.
  • Adapt positively to change and overcome obstacles to achieve results.
  • Help protect company property by keeping areas, equipment, and furnishings clean and in good repair.
  • Bring enthusiasm to the role, maintain a positive attitude, and treat others with respect.
  • Support coworkers, share information clearly, and help ensure all shifts have the details they need.
  • Put team success ahead of individual recognition and help resolve conflicts constructively.
