Role Overview

We are seeking an early-career Marketing Assistant to join our Branded Marketing team in McMahons Point, New South Wales. This role offers significant career growth opportunities by involving you directly in meaningful marketing activities, including national campaigns and cross-departmental projects, while also handling essential operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the marketing inbox efficiently and responding to requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Monitoring Google reviews for our practice network and collaborating with Practice Managers to address any negative feedback.
• Handling invoice processing and overseeing the print portal activities.
• Managing provider setups and removals on online directories and booking platforms.
• Maintaining the marketing calendar and alerting the team to upcoming priorities.
• Generating and updating regular reports.
• Communicating with media contacts and suppliers to obtain quotes and information.
• Supporting email marketing by assisting in writing, designing, and building campaigns.
• Creating copy and selecting images for social media, email, and promotional content.
• Updating artwork for digital displays and marketing assets.
• Providing design assistance across campaigns, practice marketing materials, and HR communications.
• Contributing to national campaigns and collaborating on cross-functional projects involving Finance, HR, Acquisitions, and Events teams.
• Taking full responsibility for smaller marketing campaigns.
• Offering marketing support for industry events and conferences.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum one year of relevant experience through internships or roles such as Marketing Assistant or Coordinator.
• Ability to work professionally within a team and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive in collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Strong ownership of tasks, meeting deadlines, and early issue identification.
• A motivated learner keen to accelerate their marketing career.

Preferred but Not Required

• Familiarity with digital marketing channels including social media, email, and SEO/SEM.
• Experience with CRM, email marketing, or content management systems.
• Basic design skills using tools like Canva.
• Experience in multi-site, healthcare, or corporate environments.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
