Role overview
A Sydney-based financial services organisation with a strong customer-first culture is expanding its risk capability and is looking for a Market Risk Manager. In this position, you will be central to strengthening and assessing market risk models across the business.
What you will do
- Lead market risk workstreams covering risk identification, modelling, measurement, valuation, monitoring, and overall risk control.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with both new and existing business stakeholders.
- Support the growth of junior team members by coaching them and contributing to their professional development within the market risk function.
What the role calls for
- At least 4 years of experience in risk management, with a strong focus on market risk within financial services.
- Practical understanding of advanced market risk approaches.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability.
- Working knowledge of SQL or VBA.
