Role Overview
The Accommodation team is focused on growing Trip.com’s global hotel business. This position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and covers markets across the Middle East and Africa while supporting regional business development. The selected candidate will help expand hotel partnerships, improve inventory coverage, and create stronger value for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out the business plan to meet growth goals and widen hotel inventory coverage in Saudi Arabia.
- Study market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities through research and analysis.
- Work with external partners to develop destinations, including organizing destination workshops and attending exhibitions when needed.
- Own the full process for bringing in new hotel partners as well as managing existing hotel accounts.
- Spot promising partner prospects, lead negotiations and contracting, and prioritize both the quality and volume of new hotel signings.
- Strengthen current partnerships, track partner performance, provide support, and drive revenue growth within the assigned portfolio.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach by ensuring hotel content, pricing, availability, and product offerings match company standards and deliver strong value to customers.
- Coordinate with operations and other internal teams to execute business initiatives smoothly.
- Prepare and deliver regular business updates for senior leadership, including performance results, challenges, and recommended actions.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned based on business requirements.
Requirements
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.
- Strong ownership mindset and a highly proactive approach.
- Ability to work well in a team and a strong drive to get things done.
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Creative, adaptable, and capable of leading change.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or revenue/yield management within online travel, hospitality, or e-commerce.
