About the Role
VitalCaring is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to guide daily recruiting operations and influence how the company attracts top talent across multiple business lines. This people-focused leadership role involves coaching recruiters, enhancing recruitment processes, leveraging data to make informed decisions, and collaborating with business leaders to overcome hiring obstacles. The position offers an opportunity to impact the candidate and hiring manager experience positively while supporting recruitment within clinical, sales, operations, and corporate sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7 to 10 Talent Acquisition Partners through consistent one-on-one meetings, pipeline assessments, and performance coaching.
- Promote a culture emphasizing accountability, teamwork, continuous learning, and recruitment excellence.
- Manage onboarding, training, and continuous development initiatives for new recruiters.
- Function as the primary leader and escalation resource for recruitment activities.
- Oversee recruitment workflows daily to ensure balanced workloads and prioritized hires are handled promptly and effectively.
- Track recruiting pipelines, aging requisitions, and hiring actions to proactively remove obstacles.
- Collaborate with business leaders on significant hiring campaigns and workforce planning.
- Standardize recruitment procedures and explore efficiency gains through technology, automation, and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to recruitment policies, employment laws, and internal standards.
- Advocate for a top-tier experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Use data analytics and recruiting dashboards to identify trends and enhance recruiting performance.
- Maintain accuracy and data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Work alongside Talent Acquisition leadership to provide meaningful recruiting insights and executive updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of recruiting experience, ideally in healthcare sectors.
- A minimum of 3 years managing or leading recruitment teams.
- Experience with high-volume, multi-state hiring environments.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting metrics, pipeline governance, and workforce analytics.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, especially Greenhouse.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate recruiting personnel.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
- Analytical aptitude with a capacity to convert data into actionable strategies.
- Proven record in process improvement and implementing recruitment technologies.
Preferred Experience
- Background in recruiting for Home Health, Hospice, Post-Acute Care, or Healthcare Services.
- Supporting remote, geographically distributed field teams.
