This full-time role based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia involves a 35-hour workweek. The application deadline is August 18th, 2026.

Role Impact

The Manager, Planning and Evaluation is pivotal in propelling MS Canada's mission by leading strategic and operational planning, as well as performance assessment processes.

• Lead and coordinate the annual enterprise-wide planning cycles, including the creation of workflows, data tracking mechanisms, analytical review, and reporting.
• Design and maintain robust data collection and assessment methods that continuously improve impact measurement.
• Support execution of strategic initiatives alongside the President's office.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven expertise in performance measurement, evaluation, and reporting of organizational impact.
• Strong competency in data literacy, including gathering, analyzing, and translating findings into actionable steps.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing organizational planning procedures, encompassing workflow design and performance tracking.
• Excellent collaborative and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of working across teams and hierarchy to develop joint solutions.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities, with experience producing clear, concise reports tailored to diverse audiences.
• Dedication to principles of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility within program evaluation and workplace practices.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and advance strategic projects under deadlines.
• Experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKR) methodology is advantageous.
• Background in nonprofit or health research sectors is a plus.
• Experience working with senior or executive leadership is desirable.
• Formal project management education or certification is an asset.

• Annual salary ranging between 68000 and 72000 CAD.
