Manager (Information Management)

Role Overview

As an Information Management Manager at the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS), you will be responsible for creating, drafting, and reviewing information management strategies that align with DIS's strategic communication and security goals. This role requires close collaboration with DIS departments, commands, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement strategic communication messages through detailed information management plans and communication channels within appropriate forums.
• Review and approve publicity content related to DIS to ensure consistency in messaging and representation.
• Work jointly with partner agencies to organize and conduct information training and educational programs aimed at enhancing DIS personnel's strategic communication capabilities.

Challenges

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of operations related to MINDEF, SAF, and DIS.
• Stay informed on current events and news that could affect DIS interests.
• Manage coordination and maintain effective collaboration among various agencies and stakeholders.

Applicant Profile

• Preferred academic background in Communications, Psychology, International Relations, or Social Sciences.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities enabling synthesis of complex data.
• Excellent writing skills, focusing on detail and clarity.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
