Role Overview

If you have practical experience in building maintenance and renovations and take pride in your ability to repair and maintain facilities, this position is ideal. The role focuses on responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Address general maintenance requests within a 72-hour timeframe
• Attend urgent maintenance issues as they arise
• Perform general upkeep and touch-ups in vacant units meeting established quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and repair of common areas and the overall property
• Collaborate with customer service teams to coordinate rotating unit inspections
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections, documenting findings in reports
• Supervise contractors’ work to ensure quality adherence
• Assist with snow removal tasks
• Undertake additional duties and support other projects as needed

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on general maintenance experience
• 3 years of renovation experience is an asset
• Practical proficiency in spoken and written French
• Familiarity with technology tools considered a plus
• Must possess required tools (a predefined list will be shared during interview) by the end of probation

Physical and Personal Requirements

• Capability to stand for up to 8 hours, walk, climb stairs, and lift weights as necessary
• Ability to manage loads up to 90 kilograms using proper equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills, resolving issues effectively on first attempt
• Dedication to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Positive demeanor, enthusiasm, and self-confidence

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ownership of a reliable vehicle
