Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of hotel infrastructure. This role involves regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep all hotel facilities functional and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public spaces within the hotel.
• Address issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry promptly.
• Maintain and service air conditioners, water pumps, geysers, lighting fixtures, and related equipment.
• Respond swiftly to any maintenance complaints raised by guests.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities to avoid equipment failures.
• Replace worn or damaged fixtures, switchgear, bulbs, door locks, and other fittings as needed.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and standards during all maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and Front Office departments to ensure rooms are ready and well-maintained.
• Manage inventory and upkeep of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance tasks in the maintenance logbook.
• Monitor essential systems such as diesel generator sets, elevators, fire safety equipment, and emergency systems.
• Ensure the hotel’s overall infrastructure remains in optimal working condition at all times.

Eligibility and Remuneration

This position is open to suitable candidates interested in hotel maintenance roles. The monthly salary range for this role is between 15000 to 22000 INR.
