Role Overview

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be a versatile tradesperson responsible for addressing various maintenance, repair, painting, and improvement tasks to keep the property in excellent shape. You will proactively detect potential issues to prevent larger problems and use your practical skills to maintain the building's quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all apartments, facilities, and shared spaces throughout the property are well-maintained and presented to a high standard.
• Work both collaboratively within a team setting and independently as needed.
• Face and resolve diverse maintenance challenges using innovative problem-solving skills.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance projects as required to uphold property standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Physically capable and motivated to complete tasks safely and thoroughly.
• Hands-on experience in general building maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work; formal qualifications are not essential.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude with effective communication skills suited to liaising with management, guests, and contractors alike.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
