About the Role
We seek an experienced Logistics Specialist to oversee comprehensive logistics operations involving materials, robotic systems, and finished products within our manufacturing setup and solar energy projects. This position involves close coordination with various teams including production, project management, suppliers, and transport partners to assure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient deliveries across factories, warehouses, solar farms, and industrial locations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound logistics for raw materials, robotic parts, electronic modules, and assembly components.
- Guarantee uninterrupted supply of materials to production lines, maintenance units, and research and development activities.
- Manage outbound transportation of finished solar robots, automated cleaning devices, and replacement parts.
- Plan project and on-site logistics for EPC installation projects, optimizing delivery sequences and just-in-time management.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, vendors, freight forwarders, and transport services.
- Oversee reverse logistics processes involving returns, defects, or spares.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, airway bills, certificates of origin, and HS code documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, VAT protocols, and regional standards such as SABER, SASO, and ZATCA.
- Monitor and control freight expenses, storage fees, demurrage, and detention to avoid delays and extra costs.
- Support warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, inventory accuracy and handle sensitive robotic and electronic equipment safely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, English, or related disciplines.
- 3 to 6 years of pertinent experience within manufacturing logistics, project cargo, industrial automation, or supply chain fields, including a minimum of 2 years specializing in import/export logistics or customs handling.
- Hands-on understanding of sea and air freight procedures, customs clearance, and large-scale trade logistics; prior experience in renewable energy or automation machinery highly favored.
- Strong expertise in Incoterms 2020, HS Code classification, global shipping practices, and Gulf Cooperation Council import/export standards.
- Knowledge of customs declaration platforms and international logistics tracking software such as QP or similar tools.
- Awareness of import/export laws in major markets including the US, European Union, and Southeast Asia.
- Proficient English communication skills, capable of autonomously managing contracts, correspondence, and supplier/customer interactions in English.
- Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and enterprise resource planning software like SAP, Oracle, or equivalents.
- Exceptional logical reasoning, analytical skills, planning, coordination, communication, negotiation, and problem resolution capabilities.
- A service-focused attitude, meticulous attention to detail, ability to perform under pressure, and a collaborative leadership style.
