About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and support your team to provide excellent customer service, maintain store standards, and ensure product availability.
  • Achieve all department key performance indicators.
  • Manage and make effective daily decisions to assist team members in performing their tasks efficiently.
  • Implement training programs so all colleagues receive comprehensive training, validation, and up-to-date training credentials.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all departmental routines, systems, and processes.
  • Plan and execute seasonal, trade-driving, and promotional activities for maximum sales impact and visual appeal.
  • Oversee all safety and legal protocols within your departments, proactively addressing any issues.
  • Encourage understanding and alignment of team objectives, conduct regular reviews, career discussions, and maintain live personal development plans.
  • Provide consistent coaching and constructive feedback to enhance team skills.
  • Empower your team to address behavioral issues confidently, contributing to an improved shopping experience.
  • Create a work environment that promotes innovation and personal growth.
  • Exemplify a culture where customers enjoy shopping and colleagues feel proud to work.
  • Ensure customer focus at all times, maintain product quality and availability, and uphold store cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Assist in other store departments when necessary to support colleagues.

  • Proven prior management experience, preferably within retail.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer and colleague experiences.
