Role Overview

We are seeking a Lab Manager to lead and manage our makerspace, overseeing all tools, equipment, and procurement operations that enable our hardware and engineering teams to work efficiently without interruptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and organization of the lab and makerspace, ensuring equipment and workspace are in excellent condition.
• Handle procurement activities for lab apparatus, components, and consumables required for projects.
• Operate lab machinery and provide hands-on fabrication and testing assistance to engineering personnel.
• Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and ensure regular upkeep of tools and equipment.
• Guarantee that the lab complies with all safety regulations and operational standards, supporting team growth and scalability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a lab, workshop, or makerspace environment with a hands-on approach.
• Familiarity with procurement procedures involving technical equipment and components.
• Competence in using various types of lab and workshop tools and machinery.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to anticipate and proactively address operational requirements.
• Authorization to work within the European Union is mandatory.
