L1 Infrastructure Support Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an L1 Infrastructure Support Engineer to be part of our Infrastructure Operations team based in India. This position requires working in 24x7 rotational shifts with immediate joining availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring infrastructure alerts and performing initial troubleshooting.
• Handling incident management and ticketing through ServiceNow.
• Supporting Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Executing first-level recovery actions following documented runbooks.
• Coordinating with US-based teams through effective written and verbal communication.
• Managing shift handovers and escalating complex issues to higher-level support (L1.5).

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency with ServiceNow for incident management.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, Azure Monitor, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory management.
• Understanding of fundamental network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Routing.
• Experience in infrastructure or NOC operations and alert monitoring.
• Ability to conduct first-level troubleshooting and recovery based on runbooks.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with US teams.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Azure services or AZ-900 certification.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Ability to script using PowerShell.
• Prior experience supporting US-based clients.

• Annual salary range between 600,000 and 1,400,000 INR.
