Role overview
This is an onsite L1/L2 IT support role for an enterprise environment. The position is based in Mumbai, with work location also mentioned as Bangalore / Mumbai. The role requires immediate joining to within 15 days and a general shift schedule. The salary range mentioned is INR 4,00,000 for junior candidates with 1 to 4 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral hardware.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Support both Windows and Mac environments, including installations, updates, and patching activities.
- Troubleshoot everyday network problems such as Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN, DNS, and DHCP concerns.
- Handle device lifecycle tasks such as issuing equipment, configuring systems, tracking assets, refreshing devices, and retiring old hardware.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account creation and workstation setup.
- Use Intune and SCCM for endpoint management and application deployment.
- Track incidents, manage support tickets, and work within SLA targets.
- Keep asset records accurate and maintain technical documentation.
- Escalate issues that require higher-level technical support to L3 teams when needed.
Requirements
- Solid practical knowledge of troubleshooting desktops and laptops.
- Prior experience supporting Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Working knowledge of networking basics and remote support utilities.
- Experience using ticketing tools and following IT support workflows.
- Exposure to Intune, SCCM, Active Directory, or Office 365 is preferred.
- Clear communication and strong problem-solving ability.
