Job description
Overview
We are seeking a committed Kitchen Porter to join our team supporting Defence operations, working full-time at 35 hours per week. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and excellent customer service standards while providing support across various hospitality functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby and public areas
- Assisting housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams with room setup and furniture relocation
- Carrying out light reception duties such as booking theatre tickets or arranging restaurant reservations
- Attending to customer requests promptly and courteously
- Running errands as needed
- Ensuring customer safety by placing and removing safety signage (e.g., wet floor signs)

- Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to easily build relationships
- Experience in providing high-quality customer care
- Proactive decision-maker focused on customer needs
- Capability to perform well under pressure
- Reliable with exceptional punctuality and time management
