Job Overview

This role plays a vital part in the daily care and well-being of boarding and daycare animals at our facility. The Kennel Assistant is responsible for providing attentive, individualized care, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, and supporting operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized attention to boarding and daycare pets, including feeding, exercise, and general care to promote comfort and safety.
• Monitor animal behavior vigilantly and report any unusual health changes to the medical team promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across kennel areas, runs, and outdoor grounds to uphold a healthy environment.
• Manage inventory of food and cleaning supplies to guarantee smooth operations and teamwork in completing daily tasks.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

Additional Information

• This position is part-time, based onsite at Animal Hospital of Pitt County in Greenville, NC.
• Pay ranges from $11 to $13 per hour.
