About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead technological innovation within your team to transform processes and solutions.
- Apply advanced knowledge across multiple complex systems and applications to engineer software meeting stakeholder needs while actively reducing technical debt.
- Independently accomplish challenging objectives with strategic risk management and communicate potential impacts on project deliverables.
- Engage in customer and solution discovery sessions to align development with business goals.
- Manage code integration, versioning, deployment, and adhere to version control practices.
- Diagnose and resolve production incidents promptly, following through on root cause analysis and restoration.
- Collaborate in work estimation and task breakdown to facilitate frequent, incremental releases.
- Offer guidance and recommendations concerning software design improvements.
- Participate actively in knowledge sharing through engineering communities, industry forums, open source contributions, and academic partnerships.
- Uphold organizational values and embrace initiatives for continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a passion for innovation through problem solving and resourcefulness, maintaining a proactive learning attitude.
- Capable of leading technical discussions and challenging existing design and strategy decisions.
- Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Basic familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Knowledgeable about RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
- Interest in cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ready to collaborate and grow professionally within a team environment.
- Utilizes analytics for daily decision-making and discussions.
- Bonus experience includes certifications or work with cloud providers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps tools like Bitbucket, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Exposure to frameworks and databases such as Java/Spring, Node.js/Express.js, Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DB2 is advantageous.
- Experience leveraging Google-based AI tools is a plus.
